Author Bev Muller

UKitimoto is a great piece to recommend to L2 level second language learners. I imagine it could be a good read for those between third and fourth grade in South Africa. This reading piece stands out for me because it highlights many themes without overwhelming the student, it also makes use of modern colloquial Zulu, which is something I appreciate. Our texts should correspond with modern spoken language while still conforming to standard forms of language writing and you have achieved that balance in this book.
